The Lighthouse Campaign

The My Voice Journal is a trauma—informed resource designed to help children and young people in care express their thoughts, feelings and needs in a safe, supported way.

Each journal is created to help children and young people reflect, express their feelings, and feel heard, especially when words are hard to find.

Why My Voice Journals Exist

Children in care often carry a lot inside - thoughts, worries, questions, and feelings that don’t always have a safe place to go.

Many struggle to put into words. Some worry about saying the wrong thing. Others have learned to stay quiet because they don’t feel heard.

My Voice Journals were created to change that because their voice matters, even when it’s hard to speak.
